A Sussex based player has won a sum of £1,426,000. The player hit a winning streak online at William Hill casino when his lucky number, twenty-three came up victorious when he was playing roulette. The 40 year old local businessman, Jason H, from Sussex, is a regular player at the William Hill casino.

Jason started the day playing his usual games at the casino and built up a good balance.  Then suddenly Jason bet his entire balance on his lucky number and then watched in astonishment as he won a huge six-figure amount.

Not satisfied with this win he again bet money on his number 23 till the final payment reached a total of £1,426,000. When the amount reached the figure, he called the company to check if he had really won the money.

David Hood, who is the spokesperson for William Hill said, “The win was real. We have proved to be one of the luckiest places to bet for online players and since Christmas we have written three £1+ million cheques out to winning customers.”

He added, “For Jason the number 23 proved lucky, as he kept betting on the number till he won the £1.4miilion.”

The latest win has come a few weeks after Fred Craggs’s historic £1 million pound 8-horse accumulator win from a 50p bet, ands soon after Mr. X, celebrated Christmas with a £1 million slot machine win.

Talking about his, Jason H said: “I’m very happy with my win. I am not sure what I’ll do with the money yet.” He added, “I might go with my family for a holiday to a place that is hot. I will invest a part of winning amount.”
