PokerStars Hosts Exclusive $25,000 Free Roll Tournament
The online poker site PokerStars has just announced that it will be hosting an exclusive $25,000 free roll tournament for PokerListings.com players during the month of August.
The promotion will include a $10,000 cash free roll tournament plus two chances at winning an all-inclusive prize package for the PokerStars.com Asia Pacific Poker Tour.
Hannah Mayen, Media Relations Director at PokerListings.com stated, “It’s a good chance for players, especially those who had missed the first season of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour.”
She added, “We are now hosting a poker event in New Zealand and are offering bigger cash prizes then before. It’s an example of how the site is taking the game of poker global.”
She went on to say, “It is a good chance for our players to be part of the Asia Tour and play at some of the world’s most exotic and luxurious places.”
All PokerListings.com players who have signed up on PokerStars through a link irrespective of whether these players are new or existing, are eligible to play in both upcoming Asia free roll tournaments.
The first tournament is a $7,000 APPT Seoul free roll which is scheduled to be held on Aug. 9, 2008. A player wanting to qualify needs to earn just 100 FPPs at PokerStars in the month of July to qualify to play. The winner of this tournament will earn an all-inclusive package that will include travel, accommodation and main event entry fee for the Asia Pacific Poker Tour stop in Seoul, South Korea, which is scheduled to be held on Sept. 26-28, 2008.
The second free roll tournament to be held is an $8,000 APPT Macau free roll, which is scheduled on Aug. 16, 2008. All PokerListings.com players who earn 250 FPPs at PokerStars in the month of July are eligible to play. The winner of this tournament will earn an all-inclusive package that includes travel, accommodation and the main event entry fee for the Asia Pacific Poker Tour stop in Macau, People’s Republic of China, starting Sept. 1, 2008.
The month of August ends with another $10,000 cash free roll which is exclusive to Poker Listings players. The tournament will be hosted on Aug. 30. To qualify a player needs to win 1,000 FPPS in the month of July.
