The Swedish online gaming provider Svenska Spel has announced that it is launching a next-generation bingo and lottery project based on a platform from software developer NYX Interactive. The company that is based in Stockholm had launched online bingo in 2002 and has stated that the new platform would see it take the next step into the market featuring many new functions including responsible gaming.

Mikael Franzen, Vice-President for SvenskaSpel.se said, “’With this new platform, we will take a strong position among the ever-tougher competition on the Swedish market.”.

He added, “Keeping a market-leading position requires innovation, speed, flexibility and constant originality. With the NYX Interactive platform and products, we will create these conditions.”

NYX Interactive platform will allow Svenska Spel to offer many types of new tournament games along with web television broadcasts, add-on features such as betting on even or odd numbers, advanced jackpot functionality and customized bingo rooms.
