This week came a tragic time to local land based casino goers in Russia. With all land based casino operations closing doors this Wednesday gamblers across Russia are outraged and are turning to online casinos as a solution. This could be great for all online casinos that accept Russian players but since the ban also included banning online gambling as well this will be a tough pill to swallow.

This ban has been something that the Russian government has been trying to do for quite some time now and finally the doors to all land based casinos were closed and people fear that the same pattern will follow for online operations as well.
