There are certain things that we have come to expect from online casino games. One of those things is that there are certain types of online casino games. There are table games that included (but aren’t limited to) blackjack, roulette, Caribbean stud, Spanish 21 and so on. There are also games like poker and of course there are so many slot games too! But what online casinos have yet to launch are skills games.

Games like solitaire, chess, checkers, battleship… there are so many to name. If online casinos didn’t leave it all up to chance there might be much more of an audience than they ever thought that they could even have to begin with. And this is something that has been up in the air in recent times and may be a topic that is revisited in the near future.

Skills games pose a little bit of a problem to the idea of the online casino. Most skills games have little chance probability so players must actually know what they are doing in order to win where as in most other online casino games players must know the game but can also win by simply getting lucky and being at the right place at the right time.

It would be interesting to see what happened if online casino were to launch skills games and have people bet on them. If they figured out a way to make some sort of side bets so that it wasn’t all up to strategy then there would surely be a way to implement skills games at online casinos very soon.
